The spreadsheet is a symptom

When a spreadsheet becomes load-bearing, it's telling you a system is missing.

By Kieron Maddison · Founder, AIsey

Every growing business has one: the file only one person understands, that the business quietly depends on. When that person is on holiday, things stop. When they leave, things break.

The spreadsheet isn't the problem. The gap it covers is. Somewhere, two systems don't talk, or a process never got designed — and a person with Excel is holding the gap closed with their evenings.

Find every spreadsheet the business would genuinely miss, and you've found your automation roadmap. It's usually shorter than you think.
