AI, where it actually pays

AI is a capability, not a destination. Nobody's strategy was 'use electricity'.

By Kieron Maddison · Founder, AIsey

The winners of the last industrial shift didn't buy electricity — they redesigned their factories around it. The same is true now. The question isn't 'how do we use AI?' It's 'where does reading, writing, searching, matching and drafting eat our week?'

Those are the places AI pays: the research before the meeting, the brief nobody has time to write, the inbox full of enquiries that all need the same first three steps.

The businesses that win with AI won't be the ones with the most tools. They'll be the ones who found the few places it genuinely pays — and proved it there first, small, before scaling anything.
